FLCC Splits With NCCC

Softball Highlights - April 29

FLCC softball split a doubleheader with Niagara CC on Friday. The Lakers (4-26) lost game 1 by a score of 6-5, but rebounded with a victory in game 2 by winning 7-5.

Christina Evangelista (Geneva) pitched 6 strong innings allowing 4 earned runs in the first game for FLCC. Brandy Earl (Oswego), Kayla Kline (Mynderse) and Emily Lawrence (Churchville-Chili) each had 2 hits for the Lakers. Lawrence highlighted FLCC's offense in game 1 with a 3-run double.

In the second game, Shelby Marra (Spencerport) pitched a complete game allowing 4 earned runs while striking out 4 for FLCC. Sarah List (DeSales) led the Lakers offense with 3 hits. Kathleen Alaimo (Geneva) and Sarah Roza (Greece Arcadia) each added 2 hits.
