Softball Team Falls To Oakton CC On Spring Break

The Finger Lakes Community College Women's Softball team lost its season opener yesterday in Cocoa Beach Florida.  The team lost to Oakton CC, IL with scores of 12-4 and 8-6.  In the first game, Sarah Roza (Greece Arcadia) went 2 for 3 with 2 RBI's and Kayla Kline (Mynderse) hit a solo home run for the Lakers.  In the nightcap Kline pitched 4 innings allowing just 4 hits and 2 earned runs.  Brandy Earl (Oswego) went 3 for 4 with a triple and 2 RBI's while Stephanie Rodriguez (NYC) was 2 for 3 with a double and an RBI.  The Lady Lakers are scheduled to play Lackawanna CC and Wabaunsee CC today at 11am and 1pm.
