As a Lady Laker in 2011: Marnell hit .274 in 34 games played. The sophomore is both a quality hitter and fielder. Her greatest strength is her glove. Last season as a catcher and outfielder, she posted a .921 fielding percentage. She provides the Lady Lakers with a reliable glove behind the plate and in the outfield. Expect her production at the plate to increase in 2012 as she is surrounded by a quality lineup that has the potential to be one of the best in the Mid-State Athletic Conference. Marnell is currently majoring in graphic design.
