As a standout athlete in high school at Avoca: Robards was a member of the women’s soccer and softball teams. As a softball player at Avoca, the freshman was one of the team’s top premier pitchers. In honor of her excellent play on the mound in high school, she was twice voted 1st Team All-County. Robards was also an impact player on the soccer field at Avoca, earning 1st (one-time) and 2nd (one-time) Team All-County honors. Her stellar play on the softball and soccer teams earned her the Exceptional Senior award. Robards brings several key attributes with her to the Lady Lakers clubhouse in her first season. Along with being an athletic force, she brings character, a winning attitude, and a great work ethic with her. On the mound, Robards brings with her a great deal of potential. She possesses a strong arm, great durability, and the ability to be an effective leader. The pitcher is currently majoring in human services.
