Softball – Lady Lakers Finish Myrtle Beach Trip With Loss To Genesee

MYRTLE BEACH, SC. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lady Lakers concluded their trip to Myrtle Beach, South Carolina (neutral site) today with an 8-0 loss to Genesee Community College.

In a losing effort, the Lady Lakers were highlighted by sophomore Sarah Roza's (outfielder, Rochester, NY) 2-hit afternoon. Roza finished the game by going 2 for 3 from the plate.

Freshmen Emily Essom (shortstop, Fairport, NY) and Ashley Sheesley (first baseman, Lowman, NY) each added one hit apiece for Finger Lakes.

The Lady Lakers will return to action on Saturday (3/24) for an away matchup against Clinton Community College. Game time is slated for 2:00 pm.
