Softball - Baker Named Regional Female Co-Athlete of the Week

CANANDAIGUA, NY. - Jeri Baker (shortstop, freshman, Harrisville, NY) has been named NJCAA Region III Division III Female Co-Athlete of the Week. She shares this week's honor with Chelsea Monroe, a Jefferson Community College sophomore infielder. Baker earned these honors after delivering a solid offensive effort from the plate in a pair of Lady Laker road victories on Saturday (3/24) over Clinton Community College. In the 20-1 and 19-3 wins, she went 7 for 10 with her bat with 2 doubles and a triple. Along with her 7 hits, Baker accrued 10 RBI, scored 6 runs, and stole 2 bases. She is currently batting .433 on the season.
