Softball – Lady Lakers Drop Pair Of Home Games To #5 Nationally Ranked TC3

CANANDAIGUA, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lady Lakers dropped a pair of home games this afternoon to the #5 nationally ranked* Tompkins Cortland Community College Lady Panthers by scores of 11-2 (game one) and 16-0 (game two).The Lady Panthers pitching and hitting proved to be among one of the elite staff's and lineup's in the nation today. Tompkins Cortland's pitchers held Finger Lakes to a combined three hits in both games. Meanwhile, the Lady Panthers lineup slugged a combined thirty-four hits in both games.  

In a losing effort in game one, Sarah Roza (Rochester, NY) paced the Lady Lakers with one hit. She also crossed the plate for one of Finger Lakes two runs.

In a game two loss, the Lady Lakers received one hit each from Amalia Dolley (Horseheads, NY) and Emily Essom (Fairport, NY).

Finger Lakes will take on Onondaga Community College in a home doubleheader for its next set of games on Saturday (4/14). Game one is set to start at 1:00 pm.
