Bio
Kristen Schuth is currently serving in her second season as the primary assistant coach of the softball program at Finger Lakes CC.
Prior to joining the Lady Lakers dugout, Schuth served as the head women’s softball coach at Genesee CC from 2004-10. Schuth’s coaching experience extends beyond the sport of softball. Prior to coaching at Genesee, she served as an assistant women’s basketball coach at SUNY Brockport, where she was responsible for the recruiting, planning, and fundraising process for the team.
Schuth was a standout two-sport athlete during her collegiate days at Brockport – where she was a member of the women’s basketball and softball teams. She currently holds the school record for most points in a season and is the second leading scorer and rebounder in the history of Brockport’s women’s basketball program. As a softball player at Brockport, she holds the record for lowest Earned Run Average in a season and is the record holder for most games pitched, most wins, and most strikeouts in school history.
Schuth – who was an All-American in college – is a member of Brockport’s Athletic Hall of Fame. She graduated from Brockport with her bachelor’s in business administration. In addition, she holds a master’s in sports management from California University of Pennsylvania.
Schuth currently resides in Spencerport, NY with her husband David and their two sons, Gavynn and Austynn.
