Kristen Schuth concluded her first season as assistant coach of the Lady Lakers in 2012.

Previously, she served as the head women’s softball coach at Genesee Community College from 2004-10. Schuth’s coaching experience extends beyond the sport of softball. Prior to coaching at Genesee, she served as an assistant basketball coach at (SUNY) Brockport State College. Her responsibilities consisted of assisting with the recruiting, planning, and fundraising process for the team.

Aside from coaching, Schuth was a standout two-sport athlete in college, playing on the Brockport women’s basketball and softball teams. As a member of the basketball team, Schuth holds the record for most points in a season and is the second leading scorer and rebounder in school history. As a member of the softball team, she posted the lowest Earned Run Average in a season and recorded the most games pitched, most wins, and strikeouts in school history. The All-American is also a Brockport Hall of Fame inductee.

Schuth graduated from Brockport with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration. She also holds a Master of Science Degree in Sports Management from California University of Pennsylvania.

Schuth currently resides in Spencerport, NY with her husband David and son Gavynn.
