Cortland Classic

FLCC men's and women's track and field competed in the Cortland Classic over the weekend in Cortland, NY. The meet was a 2-day event that took place on Friday and Saturday.

David Moore's 2nd place finish in the men's long jump (6.55 meters)and Katherin Donovan's 3rd place showing in the women's 100 meter hurdles (time of 17.79 seconds) highlighted the weekend for the Lakers.

Joseph Christian and Tryphena Hamilton both set school records for FLCC during the Classic. Christian placed 6th in the men's shot put (12.81 meters) while Hamilton placed 7th in the women's discus throw (31.23 meters) and 9th in the shot put (9.67 meters).

FLCC will travel to (SUNY) Delhi this coming weekend to compete in the Region III Championships. The event will take place on both Friday (April 29th) and Saturday.
