Volleyball – Sophomore Jordan Smith Claims Spot on All-Region Team

CANANDAIGUA – Jordan Smith, an outside hitter for the Lady Lakers this past season, has been named to the 2012 NJCAA Region III Division III All-Region team (2nd team). The second-year player out of Lyons, NY, produced a solid season in her final year with FLCC as she stood inside the top 10 (in the region) throughout 2012 in the kills per set and digs per set categories. She finished the season with 369 kills and 368 digs. Her kill and dig totals came in a total of 108 sets. Smith concluded her sophomore campaign with a kills per set average of 3.42 (7th in the region) to go along with a digs per set average of 3.41 (8th in the region). This past season, she was a consistent force behind the Lady Lakers net as she came prepared and ready to play in each and every match. In addition to her being elected 2nd Team All-Region, Smith was named Mid-State Athletic Conference Player of the Year in 2012.
