Baseball Sweeps Broome CC

FLCC baseball swept the weekend series against Broome CC winning all 4 games on Sautrday and Sunday. The Lakers (12-10) took the first 2 games on Saturday by scores of 7-5 and 7-2, receiving complete game pitching efforts from Jordan Doroshenko (Hamilton) in game 1 and Nick French (Lansing) in game 2. FLCC won both games on Sunday 14-1 and 17-1. Kyle Barkley (Penn Yan) led the Lakers in game 1 with 2 hits and 3 RBI. Game 2 was highlighted by an Adam McPherson (Oswego) grand slam. Mike Paratore (Webster Thomas) led the team in pitching with 7 strikeouts.  FLCC plays there next game on Tuesday April 12th against Tompkins Cortland Community College at 2:00 PM at home.
