As a starting pitcher for the Lakers in 2011: The 6’1” righty went 5-4 on the mound in 9 starts, pitching in a total of 38 innings. Prior to joining FLCC, French was a standout third baseman and pitcher on his high school baseball team at Lansing. At Lansing, he was voted 1st Team All-Conference for his stellar play on the baseball field. French looks to build upon last season in 2012 with the goal of becoming a top of the rotation starter as well as a vocal leader on the field and in the clubhouse. The sophomore is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences. His career goal is to become a parks and recreation director.
