CANANDAIGUA, NY. -- The National Junior College Athletic Association is proud to announce that Finger Lakes Community College is its choice as the recipient of the 2011-2012 Region III Division III Sportsmanship Award. This marks the third consecutive year of the college receiving this prestigious honor. The Department of Athletics at Finger Lakes is flattered to accept this award as it exhibited full dedication towards operating an athletics program that matched that of true integrity throughout the academic school year.
This award recognizes the consistent flow of hard work and devotion in which all Finger Lakes student-athletes, coaches, and staff members put forth during each sports season in 2011-12. Achieving this distinction takes a full line of honesty along with a constant display of outstanding sportsmanship in each sport.
