As a transfer athlete from Cayuga Community College: Wilcox looks to bring added depth to the point guard position this season. Prior to his freshman year at Cayuga, he was a three-sport athlete in high school at Dr. Freddie Thomas, where he was a member of the varsity football, men’s basketball, and track and field teams. Wilcox has been described as a fierce and hard-working competitor. The Lakers are excited to welcome an athlete of his character to the team. Look for Wilcox to factor into becoming an important part of Coach Jones’s offense as he looks to utilize the guards’ athleticism and above average ball handling skills. The sophomore is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences. His career goal is to become a production officer.
