Lakers Fall For Fourth Consecutive Game

CANANDAIGUA, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (5-13) fell to Cayuga Community College on Saturday at home, 76-67. Cayuga earned the victory by capitalizing on its free throws by going 34 for 44 from the free throw line.  

Despite the loss, FLCC saw three of its players reach double figures in scoring. Sophomore forward Cody Sarkis (Greece, NY) paced the Lakers by scoring a team-high 14 points while registering (team-high) 8 rebounds.

Freshman shooting guard Nic Cesar (Brooklyn, NY) poured in 13 points and handed out a team-high 4 assists for FLCC.

Freshman swingman (guard/forward) Sean Carbonell (Irondequoit) added 11 points for the Lakers in the losing effort.
