Lakers Fall on Road to Cayuga

AUBURN, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (10-16) dropped their second consecutive game tonight by falling to Cayuga Community College (Spartans) on the road, 83-62. With the loss, the Spartans secured a two-game season sweep of the Lakers.

Despite the loss, the Lakers received yet another solid offensive performance out of sophomore point guard Tyron Wilcox (Rochester, NY). Wilcox finished the game with a team-high 18 points.

Lakers sophomore forward Garrett Parker (Prattsburgh, NY) added a career-high 9 points in the losing effort. All 9 of his points came via the three-pointer.

FLCC will return to the hardwood this Saturday (2/18) for its final home game of the 2011-12 season. The Lakers will take on Onondaga Community College at 3:00 p.m.
