Lakers Fall in Regular Season Finale

QUEENSBURY, NY. – The Finger Lakes Community College Lakers (11-17, 5-7 MSAC) fell in their final regular season game of 2011-12 today to Adirondack Community College on the road, 69-63. Despite the loss, the Lakers saw three of their players reach double figures in scoring, led by forward Cody Sarkis (Greece, NY) with 18 points. The 18-point afternoon marked a season-high for the sophomore.

Lakers guard Nic Cesar (Brooklyn, NY) contributed 14 points in the losing effort. The freshman was joined by teammate (sophomore forward) Sean Carbonell (Irondequoit, NY) in the scoring column.  In addition to a 14-point afternoon, Carbonell pulled down a team-high 12 rebounds.
