Men’s Hoops Team to Play Herkimer County CC in Regional Quarter-Finals

CANANDAIGUA – The #8 Lakers, fresh off a roller coaster, double-overtime home win in a sub-regional showdown with #9 Onondaga CC, will take on #1 Herkimer County CC tomorrow in the Region III Tournament quarter-finals. Game time tip-off is scheduled for 8:00 p.m. The host site of this year's regionals will be SUNY Delhi. The winner of Friday's contest will advance onto the semi-finals, where they will take on the winner of the #4 Mohawk Valley CC/#5 Fulton-Montgomery CC matchup. The semi-finals are slated to take place this Saturday (3/2).

On top of being seeded first in the region, Herkimer is currently ranked sixth in the nation.
