Several Lady Lakers Announced to MSAC All-Conference Team

Canandaigua – Several key players from the #2 nationally ranked FLCC (conference champions) women's soccer team have been selected to the 2011 Mid-State Athletic Conference All-Conference Team. The Lady Lakers are proud to announce that forward Colby Henderson (Canandaigua), midfielders Cayli Carmona (Rochester), Rebecca Giacapuzzi (Merrimack, NH), Hannah Dalle (Rochester), and Sarah Murphy (Webster), have all been announced as selectees to this team. FLCC is also proud to announce that Henderson has been granted Player of the Year honors while head coach Brandy Cooper has been selected as Coach of the Year for the conference. During the regular season, Henderson scored a team leading 22 goals, Carmona was third in the nation in points with 61 (19 goals and 23 assists), Giacapuzzi tallied 17 goals and dished out 12 assists, Dalle recorded 11 goals, and Murphy handed out 7 assists. Overall, the Lady Lakers finished their 2011 regular season campaign with a record of 18-0-1.
