Lady Lakers Score Double Digit Goals in Shutout Victory against Jayhawks

Canandaigua – The Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team cruised to victory on Sunday against Jamestown Community College, 10-0. The undefeated Lady Lakers (14-0-1) were led in the goal department by Colby Henderson, (Canandaigua) 3 goals, Rebecca Giacapuzzi (Merrimack, NH), 2 goals, Cayli Carmona (Rochester), 2 goals, Bailey Smith (Honeoye Falls), 1 goal, Shelby Marra (Spencerport), 1 goal, and Jeri Baker (Harrisville), 1 goal. Carmona added 4 assists in the shutout victory and continues to lead the nation in scoring with 56 points (17 goals and 22 assists on the season). Sarah Murphy (Webster), 2 assists, Hannah Dalle (Rochester), 1 assist, Lindsay Shull (Webster), 1 assist, and Tara Radkiewicz (Tonawanda), 1 assist, each added solid games for FLCC.

The Lady Lakers are back in action today at home against Alfred State. Game time is set for 4:30 p.m.
