Lady Lakers Record Seventh Straight Shutout in Win over Alfred State

Canandaigua – The Finger Lakes Community College women's soccer team recorded its seventh straight shutout on Tuesday at home, defeating Alfred State, 1-0. Jeri Baker (Harrisville) scored the game's only goal in the second half in the 60th minute for the Lady Lakers (15-0-1). Cayli Carmona (Rochester) was credited with the assist. Kristy Kirkpatrick (Irondequoit) anchored the net for all 90 minutes of the game for FLCC. Overall, the Lady Lakers outshot Alfred State, 18-11.

FLCC will be back in action this Friday at Cayuga Community College. Game time is set for 2:30 p.m.
