Lady Lakers Win a Pair of Consolation Games in National Championship Tournament

Dryden, NY – The FLCC Lady Lakers finished there 2011 postseason run with a pair of victories in consolation games over Mountain View College and Jamestown Community College (Cattaraugus Campus) in the NJCAA Division III National Championship tournament. On Friday (11/4), the Lady Lakers downed Mountain View College, 3-1. Freshman midfielder/forward Hannah Dalle (Rochester) led FLCC's scoring attack by registering 2 goals (her 14^th and 15^th on the season) in the win. Freshman midfielder Cayli Carmona (Rochester) added her 22^nd goal of the season to round out the Lady Lakers 3-goal scoring effort. Sophomore forward Colby Henderson (Canandaigua) added a pair of assists (her 10^th and 11^th on the season) for FLCC. On Sunday (11/6), the Lady Lakers (22-1-1) finished a successful 2011 campaign with a win over Jamestown Community College (Cattaraugus Campus), 2-1. FLCC received 1 goal each from Dalle and freshman midfielder Paige Smith (Honeoye Falls) in the victory.
