Women’s Soccer – FLCC to Host Second Round Regional Playoff Game

CANANDAIGUA – The Lady Lakers, who finished the regular season ranked third nationally, will receive a first round bye in this year's NJCAA Regionals (Region III B Division III). Finger Lakes (17-1-1, 6-0 MSAC), entering tournament play seeded second in its bracket, will host a second round game at home next Tuesday (10/23) at 3:00 p.m. In that game, they will take on the winner of the #7 Herkimer County CC vs. #10 Jamestown CC matchup. After FLCC hosts either Herkimer County or Jamestown, the winner of that contest will then advance onto the championship game, where they will await the victorious team of the #3 Mohawk Valley CC vs. #6 Jefferson CC/#11 Erie CC fixture. The championship game is scheduled to take place on Saturday, 10/27 on the campus of Tompkins Cortland CC. The time of that meeting is to be announced.
