An athletically gifted post player: Arberry brings with him to the Lakers from Milwaukee Lutheran – the skills mandatory for being a widely respected forward at the NJCAA level. A speedy, talented individual, the freshman gives Coach Jones and Finger Lakes roster a quality complementary piece underneath the hoop. He is a solid rebounder of the rock on both ends of the court and in addition is a quality scorer – one who can score via the post-up and one who can score via the jump shot. Arberry, listed at 6-foot-3, plays even larger than what his height reads. His lengthy wingspan and long vertical, both defined as impossible to game plan for, complement his rebounding and scoring abilities. A great find by Jones, the Milwaukee, WI native, who has an enormous amount of upside, is a great team player – one who can give the Lakers minutes off of the bench or in any situation necessary. His athleticism and knowledge of the game simply cannot be taught. An individual who could start or shine as a six man, Arberry is an excellent addition to the 2012-13 roster.
