As a forward with Finger Lakes in 2011-12: Miller, who saw action in 21 games, gave the Lakers a reliable shooting hand in the paint. On the season, he shot 65% from the field. His 6’6” frame served as a daunting presence last year to opposing teams. Coach Jones expects Miller, who enters his second season with the team, to take a huge leap forward this year both offensively and defensively. With a year under his belt now at the collegiate level, expect to see an increased level of production in Miller’s numbers in 2012-13. Listed as a center this season, the Lakers coaching staff is beaming confidence in his abilities. With his length and size, don’t be surprised if you frequently see his name located underneath the blocked shots column. You can also almost certainly be guaranteed that Miller’s rebounds per game average will skyrocket this year. All and all, this sophomore has the make-up to achieve insurmountable stats in 2012-13.
