Lakers Prevail in Double OT Battle Against Cayuga

Auburn, N.Y. - In a game that seemed like it would never end, the Lakers emerged victorious with a thrilling 91–84 win. The contest remained tight throughout, with just a two-point difference at halftime. With the victory, the Lakers have now won two straight and will look to build on the momentum moving forward.

Leading the offensive charge for the Lakers was sophomore Kellen Foster (Newark, N.Y. / Newark), who poured in a team-high 19 points off the bench. Continuing his strong stretch of play, Amir Tashimov (Jacksonville, Fla. / Potter's House Christian Academy) added 13 points, knocking down three three-pointers.

Against his former team, Hunter Martin (Auburn, N.Y. / Union Springs) turned in an all-around performance with 12 points, three three-pointers, five rebounds, and four assists.

Rounding out the scoring effort were George Spinelli (Canandaigua, N.Y. / Canandaigua Academy) and Ryan Clark (Orlando, Fla. / South Lake), who each chipped in 14 points in the victory.
