As a three-sport athlete in high school at Canandaigua: Quayle was a member of the football, basketball and lacrosse teams. During his playing days as a defender on the lacrosse team at Canandaigua, Quayle, who was voted team captain during his senior year, was a reliable defender on defense. He stabilized the team's defense by consistently keeping opposing offenders in check. Quayle was most notably known for his vocal leadership both on and off of the field at Canandaigua. Coach Stein will look to rely on his defensive and leadership skills throughout the 2012 season on defense. The freshman is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences.
