As an athlete in high school at Simley: Roed was a member of the football and men’s lacrosse teams. During his playing days as a midfielder at Simley, Roed was a recognizable force on the field. He was an avid goal scorer and great ball distributor. The freshman brings a great deal of size and mobility with him to the Lakers roster in 2012. Roed provides the team with reliable toughness at the midfield position. He has the ability to be a potential scoring threat on offense for Finger Lakes. Roed is currently majoring in athletic training.
