Bio

In his freshman year with Finger Lakes in 2012 – Gardner saw action in 10 games in goal, where he accrued 8 saves in 62 minutes worth of playtime. The Newark High graduate brought great leadership qualities with him to the Lakers last season. On an everyday basis, Gardner brought to the field an overwhelmingly positive attitude in addition to a phenomenal work ethic. While playing lacrosse at Newark, the solid tender was a captain of the men’s squad, where he prospered at a high level. His goaltending skills are labeled as strong. Gardner has quick hands and feet and furthermore has a great understanding of the finer details of what goes into being a pivotal ball stopper. His attention to detail also stands sturdy. Without question, given his work ethic and wiliness to be an unselfish teammate, Gardner gives the Lakers a promising asset in the clubhouse and on the field.
