As a transfer athlete: The 6’1” Backus comes to FLCC from Houghton College, where he played the role of central defender for the men’s soccer team during his freshman year. Currently enrolled as a business administration major, the Victor high school graduate looks to build his resume as a soccer player this season with the goal of playing at a 4-year school after FLCC.
