He has the intangibles necessary for playing defense at an elite level. Not only is he a formidable defender, Haines also gives Finger Lakes an added goal scoring threat when needed. He possesses leadership qualities and has the makeup to play the role of a captain. Conley looks forward to having a player of his stature on the 2012 roster.

Jackson: Is a highly technical player on the ball, one who possesses great field vision with the understanding of what it takes to get his teammates involved in the game. He brings a great deal of poise to the midfield position. He has the ability to control and distribute the ball at an effective rate around the pitch. Jackson will be an important piece to the overall flow of the offense in 2012 as he will help the Lakers in terms of possession control. He has a knack for knowing how to make passes with precision when on attack in opposing team's zones. Jackson also has the capability of using his creativity to open up opportunities for his teammates. He, like Zaov and Haines, also has the mindset of a leader. Conley believes that Jackson's game has what it takes to be a force at the collegiate level.
