Bio
High School: The first-year defender was a solid athlete on the soccer field at Curtis. Named MVP of his high school men’s soccer team twice during his 4-year stay at Curtis, Cooper was known best for his warp speed on the pitch. He provided a major sense of security on offense from a scoring standpoint thanks to his speed and agility (a pair of assets that he hopes to bring to the defensive side of the field for the Lakers). On top of his hops, he was also noted for his longevity in games. When his number was called in high school, the freshman demonstrated on a consistent basis the ability to play both half’s of a game. Expected to be a forceful figure in his welcoming year with the Lakers, Cooper has the skill set to make his presence be known on the field. As time progresses throughout the 2012 season, you could see his progression soar.
