Bio

High School: The freshman was a great athlete during his days at Hinsdale Central. The midfielder played four different sports in high school - including soccer, basketball, baseball, and golf. Labeled a gifted athlete, Gilfert is a multi-talented newcomer, one who carries a great deal of potential with him to Finger Lakes. He brings with him to the team a blend of size, speed, and passion. Gilfert provides Finger Lakes with a nice safety valve on O. His raw talent combined with the list of intangibles that he brings to the table, make for him to be a potential potent threat on the field. Opposing teams will have to factor Gilfert into their game plans on a consistent basis in 2012. The first-year Laker is currently majoring in sports & tourism studies.
