High School: The highly talked about defender is one great find by the Lakers coaching staff. Haines, a graduate of Greece Arcadia, was one heck of a solid player on the men’s soccer team during his high school playing days. Described as an individual with great power and size, the 6’2” freshman provides a stable building block for the Lakers on D. Graded as a superb talent coming out of GA, Haines should factor quite well into Finger Lakes lineup. Expected to see significant playing time thanks to the block of abilities he brings to the team, this first-year Laker is primed to serve as a menace to opposing team’s offenders in 2012. As the season develops, this highly rated recruit could shine greatness across the NJCAA men’s soccer nation. Haines is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences.
