Bio

Joe joins Finger Lakes from St. John Fisher University, where he served as an Assistant Coach from 2020-2024. In his role, he was involved in all aspects of the program, including scouting, recruiting, match preparation, game analysis, team strategy, and designing and running training sessions. Additionally, Joe has been the Associate Director of Coaching at RNY FC Youth since August 2023, managing 34 youth premier teams and directing camps and clinics across the area. He is also the current Director of Coaching for JGP Soccer, running sessions across the Greater Rochester Area.

Joe’s international background has greatly influenced his coaching style. Born in England, he has lived in China and traveled extensively throughout his playing career. He played college soccer at the Division III level for the St. John Fisher University Cardinals, where he earned two Empire 8 All-Conference selections during his career. He also plays for the Roc City Boom and the Rochester Indoor Lancers, having competed in national tournaments with both clubs.

In his first season at the helm, Joe would lead the Lakers to the program's first NJCAA Region III Championship with a decisive 4-3 win over perennial power, Herkimer County. The #8 Lakers would enter the NJCAA DIII National Tournament with a record of 15-3-3 and a pair of wins against top-10 ranked teams.
