Cross Country – FLCC Runs Well at the Bruce Bridgman Invitational

CANANDAIGUA – The Finger Lakes CC men and women's divisions ran well amongst a strong cast of competitors amidst their own confines on Saturday (9/15) – at the Bruce Bridgman Invitational. In the late summer meet, the best showing of the day for Finger Lakes came from the women's side. Alaina Bailey was responsible for it. The freshman ran what was a 5k course in a span of 23:25. Her time cemented her into a 12th place finish.

On the men's behalf, they were paced by sophomore Joshua Corey with a time of 32:19 on what was an 8k path. Corey's time slotted him into 15th place upon the conclusion of the afternoon.

Following Bailey in the women's division were fellow Lady Lakers Caitlin Drennan (20th) and Carlye Cole (32nd).

Corey, along with his finish, was followed by teammates Sam Mozingo (20th), Brandon Smith (21st), Jason Woodard (23rd), Nick Pruden (28th), Keith Baley (30th), and Jesse Martinez (32nd).
