In her freshman campaign as a Lady Laker – German was third on the team in hitting as she finished 2012 with a batting average of .390. In 100 at-bats – she registered the second most hits (39) on Finger Lakes roster last season. Along with being second in hits on the team – German was also second in RBI (21), runs scored (24) and total bases (48) for the Lady Lakers in her freshman season. Seeing action in 34 games in ’12 – the third baseman was a key piece to the teams’ lineup as she produced with her bat on a consistent basis. With a promising year filed away on her resume now at the collegiate level as a softball player – German’s sophomore year should carry a great deal of optimism along with it as she is factored to be yet again a vital aspect to the batting order.
