Bio
In her first season with Finger Lakes in 2012 – Sheesley stood out as one of the nation’s top fielders. Playing the busy position of first base – the Horseheads, NY native owned a .985 fielding percentage – which was 16th best in the nation. On the season – she totaled 123 put outs all while committing just a pair of errors in 20 games. Offensively – she tallied 11 hits all while scoring 8 runs. In addition – Sheesley produced 4 RBI as well as a .345 on-base percentage. A leader both on and off of the field – the sophomore has been named as one of Finger Lakes captains for 2013. A hard worker and great teammate – Sheesley has the intangibles that fit that of a leader. She gives 100 percent in practices and in games and acts as a positive voice in the dugout and on the field on a consistent basis.
