Franklin Clark assumed the role of head coach of the softball program at FLCC in the summer of 2023, before transitioning to head coach of the men's volleyball program in 2025. With a deep commitment to the development of student-athletes, Clark looks forward to working with the student-athletes at FLCC.
With an impressive 35-year tenure as a Physical Education teacher in the Victor Central School District, Clark brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the men's volleyball program. Clark is no stranger to success on the volleyball court. He coached the Victor boys varsity team from 1989–1993 and again from 2002–2007, leading the program to five Sectional Titles and one State Championship. He also spent six years at Fairport, where he guided the boys' varsity program from 1994–1999 and the girls' varsity team from 1995–2000, capturing a Sectional Title in 1999. More recently, he served as an assistant coach with Victor from 2009–2019, helping the program to three Sectional Titles and back-to-back State Championships. Since 2020, Clark has been the JV boys coach at Penfield, continuing to mentor athletes at the high school level.
Clark resides in Victor, New York, with his wife of 34 years, Christine. He is proud of his three children: Lindsay, who previously played Division I softball at Hofstra University under NFCA Hall of Fame coach Bill Edwards, Lacey, who has an established career as an Occupational Therapist, and Cam, who excelled in volleyball at SUNY New Paltz and recently finished his MBA.
