Bio
As an athlete at Satellite Academy High School: Guerrier, a member of the women’s basketball team, was a game-changing type athlete on the hardwood. During her time at Satellite, the 5’10” freshman played the position of forward effectively all while managing to be the voice of the teams’ offense and defense. Her presence on the court was hard felt as she was a consistent scorer and defender of the basketball. Her length was seen as a major threat in the interior post where she was a quality shot blocker game in and game out. Guerrier, along with her shot defending, was an excellent rebounder – both offensively and defensively – of the rock in high school. Additionally, the NYC resident could control the ball quite nicely. Her ball handling skills and post-up moves allowed her to score the basketball in an effective manner. Her game speaks for itself – as it is defined as solid. What goes unnoticed in the box score that this individual brings to each and every game is her ability to lead. Heard across each court that she enters, Guerrier provides Coach Henry and the entire Finger Lakes lineup with a positive voice to turn to when searching for a leader. As time goes on, you can be certain this new addition to the Lady Lakers roster will be viewed by many as a great one.
