A successful student both athletically and academically in high school: Maiorano, who enters year one in a Lady Lakers uniform with the expectation of being a valuable addition to the roster, was a quality two-sport athlete and National Honor Society member during her days at Lima Christian. While at Lima, she was a four-year member of both the women’s soccer and basketball teams. Factored as an exceptional talent on the basketball court in high school, Maiorano was a superb guard, one that could distribute the ball at will, one that could score the ball efficiently, and one that could defend the rock consistently. What this freshman brings to the gym floor each day and night is a mental toughness and a heart designed for winning. She adds a great dimension to the squad from both a scoring and defending standpoint. Given her solid track record as an athlete on the hardwood at Lima, Maiorano, without a doubt, provides the Lady Lakers roster with a great addition to the front court. As the 2012-13 season unwinds and as it progresses, you can expect this Henrietta, NY native to be factored heavily in the opposition's game plans.
