FLCC Men and Women’s Basketball Teams Set to Host MSAC Playoff Games

CANANDAIGUA – The Finger Lakes CC men and women's basketball teams have both earned two seeds in this year's MSAC playoffs. With them holding a pair of two seeds – that means that the both of them will host first round games to kickoff the 2012-13 conference playoffs.

The FLCC women – who finished the season with a 10-2 record in the MSAC – will go up against #7 Cayuga CC on Tuesday at Putt Moore Court. That game is slated to begin at 6:00 p.m.

The FLCC men will then follow the women on Tuesday as they are set to take on #7 Jefferson CC beginning at 8:00 p.m. The Lakers – on the season – went 9-3 in conference play.

The winner of the women's game will play the winner of the #3 Jefferson CC/#6 Corning CC game this Friday at 7:00 p.m. The site of this year's MSAC women's playoff basketball semi-finals will be Onondaga CC.

Whoever comes out victorious in the men's game will advance onto the semi-finals of the MSAC playoffs, where they will take on the winner of the #3 Cayuga CC/#6 Broome CC game this Friday at 7:00 p.m. The site of this year's MSAC men's playoff basketball semi-finals will be Tompkins Cortland CC.
