Woodsmen Team Announces 2013-2014 Campaign

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. -- Finger Lakes Community College Woodsmen Head Coach Ryan Staychock announced the team's fall schedule this morning. The Lakers will travel to Alfred State College and Paul Smith's College in the fall, but will host the Finger Lakes Community College Logging Sports Competition on October 5. Dates and times for the visiting meets have yet to be scheduled.

The Finger Lakes Community College Logging Sports Competition marks the third consecutive semester in which the team has hosted a Woodsmen event. The Lakers previously held a Logging Sports Competition in the fall of 2012, and recently hosted the 67th Northeast Annual Collegiate Woodsmen Conclave this past spring.

Practices for the Finger Lakes Community College Woodsmen team begin August 12th. Practices from August 12th to August 23rd will be held from 10:00a.m. to 3:00p.m. at Marty Dodge Woodsmen Field. During the academic year, the team will hold practices on from 2:00p.m. to 5:00p.m. on Monday's, Wednesday's, and Friday's at Marty Dodge Woodsmen Field.
