Bio

High School: She was a 3-sport athlete at Canandaigua Academy – having played on the women’s soccer, basketball, and lacrosse teams. Broderick, who played defense on the soccer team, was known as a scavenger on the field – meaning she would track down loose balls that seemed unfathomable to reach. She was also a great defender of the ball – where she was known for keeping opposing offensive players at bay with her solid skill sets. As a token of CA’s appreciation for her solid work ethic on D, she was named team MVP of the defense at the conclusion of her senior year. Additionally, Broderick was labeled as a distinguished scholar for 3 years (2009-11) at CA. The freshman brings a great deal of smarts to the team in her first year as she has what the Lady Lakers coaching staff believes is the right mind frame to succeed at the next level. She is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences.
