High School: As a 3-sport athlete at Greece Arcadia, Hyland, a member of the women’s soccer, basketball, and track teams, was known as a star-studded player on the soccer pitch. A 4-year roster member on the soccer team at GA, the freshman was one of the teams’ go to players on offense. She was marked as a reliable scoring option and ball distributor throughout her stay with the club. Hyland brought a high level of intensity in addition to a large amount of fortitude to each and every game during her high school soccer playing career. The Lady Lakers believe she has the proper DNA to make it at the next level. She has been given the notion that her intangibles are what make her a valuable add-on to Finger Lakes roster. With a little bit of seasoning, this midfielder could become one of the center pieces in Finger Lakes offense in 2012. Hyland is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences.
