High School: The freshman was a 2-sport athlete while she attended Greece Olympia – having played on the women’s volleyball and softball teams. Marcello comes to Finger Lakes with great upside. Expected to spend a majority of her playing time at libero in 2012, the newcomer brings a set of solid defensive skills with her to the team. She is extremely mobile and athletic. Marcello has the skills that fit that of an achieving figure. Her quick motions and rapidly fast feet make her out to be a threat to the opposition – especially when the ball is in play. Her fellow teammates will appreciate the list of positive aspects that she brings to the floor. The first-year player out of Rochester, NY, has the game to be recognized as a lethal option at her position this season. Marcello is currently majoring in liberal arts and sciences.
