Lakers Excel in the Classroom with 44 Academic All-Region Honorees
Finger Lakes Community College continues to demonstrate its commitment to excellence in the classroom as 44 student-athletes have been named to the NJCAA Region III Academic All-Region Team. The recognition honors student-athletes who have completed at least 24 credit hours while maintaining a cumulative grade point average of 3.5 or higher, showcasing the dedication and hard work of Lakers across multiple athletic programs.
Canandaigua, N.Y. - Finger Lakes Community College proudly recognizes 44 student-athletes who have been named to the NJCAA Region III Academic All-Region Team for their outstanding achievements in the classroom.
To earn this honor, student-athletes must complete at least 24 credit hours while maintaining a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher. The Lakers' honorees represent a wide range of programs, including baseball, men's soccer, women's soccer, track & field, cross country, men's volleyball, women's volleyball, softball, men's lacrosse, and men's basketball, highlighting the department's continued commitment to excellence both academically and athletically.
Leading the way was the men's soccer program with 12 Academic All-Region selections, while baseball and men's lacrosse followed with six and five honorees respectively.
