As a dual-sport athlete in high school at Victor: Rhodes was a member of the men’s wrestling and (State Champion) baseball teams. As a catcher on the varsity baseball team at Victor, Rhodes was a successful signal caller and defensive asset behind the plate. Aside from bringing his talents to FLCC as a catcher, he also brings a great deal of versatility to the team with his ability to play multiple positions. Look for Rhodes to compete as the team’s main catcher and also look for him to be used in the field as a utility player this season. The freshman is currently majoring in athletic training.
