Bio
His Plaque Reads: Graduated from Finger Lakes Community College in 1992. He then accepted a baseball scholarship to Salem-Teikyo. During the 1991-92 season, Todd was a captain for both the baseball and soccer teams at FLCC. In 1992 Todd led the baseball team to the Region III Championship and a birth in the NJCAA Division III World Series where the team finished fourth in the country. Todd was voted team most valuable player, first team All-Region III, first team All-American as well as being selected to the All-Tournament team in the 1992 NJCAA World Series.
AS a catcher at Salem-Teikyo, Todd caught every game during his two year tenure. He received the Clem Clower Award for outstanding achievement in baseball in 1993. While serving as team captain in 1994, Todd received the Ed Toothman Award for outstanding academic achievement for an athlete and the T. Edward Davis Scholar Athlete of the Year Award.
Upon graduating from Salem-Teikyo University with a degree in criminal justice, Todd joined the United States Coast Guard. Todd was an honor graduate (top graduate in his class). Todd also earned the Navy League Award, Leadership Award, Academic Award, and the Coast Guard Achievement Medal.
Todd VonHagn was the model student athlete and continues to be an outstanding role model for everyone who comes in contact with him.
