Canandaigua, NY -- The Finger Lakes Community College men's basketball team dropped their regional match-up at home against Hudson Valley Community College on Saturday, December 3 and are now 4-4 on the season.
The Lakers dominated the first half of Saturday's contest, outscoring the Vikings 41-24. However, the Vikings would rally in the second half to score 53 points while holding the Lakers to just 31 points. The Vikings would go on to top the Lakers 77-72.
Shabazz Mosley led the Lakers with a double double in Saturday's contest. He finished with 21 points and 12 rebounds against the Vikings. Shane Fanning also finished with a double double. He had 14 points and 11 rebounds. Jonathan Range and Jonathan Hansen-Moody finished with 13 points and 12 points, respectively.
The Lakers will remain at home this Sunday, December 4 when they host the visiting Timberwolves from SUNY Adirondack Community College in a Region III showdown. Tipoff is scheduled for 2 p.m. on Putt Moore Court.
